At Bestie Box, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information.

This page explains how you can request the deletion of any personal data that may have been collected through our website or through Meta services such as Facebook Login, Facebook, or Instagram integrations.

Requesting Data Deletion

If you would like us to delete your personal information associated with your Bestie Box account or any data obtained through Meta services, you may submit a request by emailing us.

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Please include the following information:

Your Full Name
Email Address used with Bestie Box
Facebook Email Address (if different)
Facebook User ID (if available)
A brief description of your request

Providing this information helps us locate your records more quickly.

What We Delete

Upon successful verification of your request, we will delete, where applicable:

Facebook Login information
Facebook User ID associated with your account
Authentication tokens
Personal profile information obtained through Facebook Login
Account information stored by Bestie Box
Any other personal information that is no longer required for legal or operational purposes

Information That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where required by applicable laws, including but not limited to:

Order invoices
Payment transaction records
Tax and accounting records
Fraud prevention and dispute resolution records

Such information is retained only for the period required by law.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 7 business days.

If additional verification is required, we may contact you before processing your request.

Removing Bestie Box from Facebook

If you connected your account using Facebook Login, you can also remove Bestie Box directly from your Facebook account.

Open Facebook.
Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
Select Apps and Websites.
Locate Bestie Box.
Click Remove.

Removing the app revokes Facebook's access permissions. If you also want any data stored by Bestie Box to be deleted, please email us using the instructions above.
