You may contact us to request any of the following, subject to verification and applicable law:

- Deletion of personal data that is no longer required

2. How to submit a data deletion or privacy request

Please include the following details so we can identify your records:
- Your full name
- Email address used with Bestie Box
- Phone number used with Bestie Box, if applicable
- Order number, if your request relates to an order
- Facebook email address, if different
- Facebook User ID, if available
- A brief description of your request
Please do not send passwords, OTPs, Aadhaar, PAN, passport, payment card details, or any sensitive identity documents unless we specifically request limited information for verification.
3. Verification of request
Before processing your request, we may need to verify that you are the person connected with the data.
For verification, we may ask you to confirm details such as your order number, email address, phone number, or other information already associated with your Bestie Box account or order.
We will only ask for information that is reasonably necessary to verify and process your request.
4. What personal data may be deleted
After successful verification, we will delete or anonymize personal data where deletion is permitted and no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
This may include, where applicable:
- Facebook Login information
- Facebook User ID associated with your Bestie Box account
- Authentication tokens or login-related identifiers
- Profile information received through Facebook Login
- Customer account information
- Contact form messages
- Newsletter subscription data
- Marketing preference data
- Non-essential cookie preference records, where applicable
- Product personalization details, such as names, custom text, design preferences or uploaded content
- Refund or support information that is no longer required
- Any other personal information that is no longer required for legal, operational, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or security purposes
5. Information that may be retained
Certain information may need to be retained even after a deletion request, where required or permitted by applicable law or for legitimate business, security, or operational purposes.
This may include:
- Order invoices
- Payment transaction records
- Tax and accounting records
- Shipping and delivery records
- Refund, replacement, chargeback, or dispute records
- Fraud prevention and security records
- Records required for legal claims or compliance
- Records required to complete an active order or service request
- Consent withdrawal or deletion request logs, kept as proof that we handled your request
Where we retain such information, we will keep it only for the period required for the relevant purpose and restrict its use accordingly.
6. Active orders and pending support requests
If you have an active order, pending delivery, refund request, replacement request, or customer support issue, we may not be able to immediately delete all related data.
For example, we may need your name, phone number, address, order details, and communication history to complete delivery, process a refund, handle a replacement, prevent fraud, or comply with tax and accounting requirements.
Once the required purpose is completed, we will delete, anonymize, or restrict the data where appropriate.
7. Personalized product data
If you order a personalized product, we may process names, custom text, design preferences, colors, images, or other customization details provided by you.
You may request deletion of such personalization data after your order is completed. However, if the data is required for support, replacement, dispute resolution, tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, we may retain it for the necessary period.
Please do not upload or share Aadhaar, PAN, passport, payment card details, medical information, or other sensitive documents for product personalization.
8. Marketing and newsletter data
You can opt out of marketing communication at any time.

After withdrawal, we will stop using your contact details for marketing purposes. However, you may still receive order-related, payment-related, delivery-related, or service-related messages where necessary.
9. Cookies and tracking preferences
You can manage your cookie choices at any time by clicking Cookie Preferences in our website footer.
Required cookies are necessary for our store to work properly and cannot be disabled through our cookie preference tool. Personalization, analytics, and marketing cookies are used according to your selected preferences.
You may also clear or block cookies from your browser settings. Please note that blocking all cookies may affect cart, checkout, login, and payment features.
10. Facebook Login and Meta data deletion
If you used Facebook Login or connected with Bestie Box through Meta services, you may request deletion of any data received from Meta services by emailing us at:

- Email address used with Bestie Box
- Facebook email address, if different
- Facebook User ID, if available
- A brief description of your request
After verification, we will delete Facebook Login data and Meta-related data stored by Bestie Box, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or operational purposes.
11. Removing Bestie Box from Facebook
If you connected your account using Facebook Login, you can also remove Bestie Box directly from your Facebook account.
General steps:
- Open Facebook.
- Go to Settings & Privacy.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Find Bestie Box.
- Select Remove.
Removing Bestie Box from Facebook revokes Facebook permissions for the app. If you also want data stored by Bestie Box to be deleted, please email us using the instructions above.
12. Response time
We aim to acknowledge verified privacy and deletion requests within 7 business days.
Where possible, we aim to complete deletion or correction requests within 30 days. Some requests may take longer depending on complexity, verification needs, legal requirements, active orders, disputes, or third-party processor involvement.
Where applicable law provides a specific timeline, we will handle the request according to that timeline.
13. Third-party service providers
Bestie Box may use third-party service providers to operate the website and provide services, such as:
- Shopify
- payment service providers
- shipping and logistics partners
- customer support tools
- email, SMS, or marketing tools
- analytics and advertising tools
- Meta/Facebook/Instagram integrations
- fraud prevention or security tools
Where your data has been shared with such providers for a relevant purpose, we may need to coordinate with them to process your deletion or privacy request.
